The clocks
It sits in a definitions section where nobody reads: under Lowe's Terms & Conditions, the holder must notify the administrator of a covered defect within 90 days of discovering it. Most holders satisfy it without knowing — a claim filed promptly is notice. The duty only bites people who knew about a fault for months before their first claim. Those are exactly the people who meet it quoted back at them. Here is how to never be one.
File anyway, today, and frame discovery honestly: intermittent faults are discovered as failures, not as hunches — "the defect" (a failed compressor) is often only knowable when a technician names it. That argument is strongest with an occurrence log showing you acted on failures as they became clear. Late is an argument; silent is a forfeiture.

The pages above are the map. The kit is the paperwork: the repair log that proves the count, the script for your administrator, and the complaint pack for when the stall continues.
