The hidden money
"Refund if not used" is the phrase plan holders type when they half-remember a promise from the register. The promise is real at both stores: file no service claim for the whole term and 30% of the plan price comes back to you. At Lowe's it comes with the sharpest small clock in either plan — and holders lose it every week by simply not knowing it exists.
| Home Depot | Lowe's | |
|---|---|---|
| The payback | 30% of the plan price, as a check or eGift Card | 30% of the plan price |
| The condition | No service claim filed for the whole plan term | No service claims for the full term |
| The deadline | None stated in the published brochure — claim promptly at term end anyway, in writing | Claim within 60 days after the plan ends — or it is forfeited |
| Source | Official appliance brochure | Terms & Conditions (the "Payback Reward") |
Lowe's example, with real dates: your plan ended September 1, 2026. Sixty days later is October 31, 2026 — after that date, the terms say the reward is gone. The checker computes your exact closing date from your plan's end date and tells you how many days are left. If your window has already closed, file anyway if you were never told about the deadline — a claim about an undisclosed window is a different document from a late claim, and the kit's wording keeps them separate.
Two cautions from the terms themselves: the condition is no service claims for the full term — one small claim in year one spends the whole payback. And "the plan ended" means the term's end date, not the day you remembered the benefit.

The pages above are the map. The kit is the paperwork: the repair log that proves the count, the script for your administrator, and the complaint pack for when the stall continues.
One payment, yours to keep. We never ask for your store or plan-portal password — you file everything yourself. See everything inside the kit →
